PPH fittings for hot welding

Raccord Plast srl produces a wide range of PPH fittings (polypropylene) for conveying pressurized fluids with a joining system of socket and butt welding. Fittings in homopolymer polypropylene or PPH are most used in applications in the industrial chemical sector and in the conduction of fluids under pressure even at high temperatures. The main features of PPH fittings are: high chemical resistance, excellent thermal stability, mechanical resistance and long life. In addition to ensuring excellent chemical resistance, the PPH fittings offer complete suitability for the transport of drinking water. The excellent thermal stability of this thermoplastic resin (PPH) allows a high mechanical resistance even in operating conditions at high temperatures.
All the fittings produced by Raccord Plast srl are designed and manufactured in Italy (Made in Italy).

Polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H).

Colour
Pebble Grey (RAL 7032).

Dimensions
Diameters according to metric series ISO 161/1 from Ø20 mm to Ø630 mm.

Jointing
By socket fusion welding from Ø20 to Ø110 and by butt welding from Ø63 to Ø630 for jointing to pipes conforming to UNI 8318, DIN 8077, EN ISO 15874 (for PP socket fittings from Ø 20 to Ø 110).

Chemical resistance
Technical report ISO/TR 10358.

Maximum working temperature
 100° C.

Maximum working pressure (at 20° C, with water)
Socket fusion welding fittings: 10 bar (PN 10).
Butt welding fittings: 10 bar for series SDR11 (PN10), 6 bar for SDR17,6 (PN6) and 4 bar for SDR26 (PN4).
In case of higher than 20° C temperature, see the table according to UNI 8318.
Use not certified with compressed gaseous fluids.

Use for potable water
Fitness to the transport of potable water according to Italian law and European directives.
